1.)Character Name: Elvir 2.)Character Class: Hunter 3.)Which role are you primarily applying for?: Ranged DPS 4.)Armory Profile Link: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/sargeras/elvir 5.)Age:25 6.)Please provide us with a link to your WoL parses: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/sargeras/elvir 7.)Why do you want to join TFB?: I'm looking for a new place to call home, not short term for the remainder of this xPac, but moving forward in the long run going into BFA as well. I'm a dedicated and committed player. I'm currently progressing on P4 Argus - 10% mark, and albeit, the kill is either going to happen by the time you guys read this application, I'm still looking for the opportunity to reclear. Familiar to your own post about finding new friends throughout Argus progression, my guild has been plagued with familiar scenarios. We've had people dip in and out due to frustration, exhaustion, and mental fatigue which is completely understandable, at the end of the day, shit happens. I don't hold grudges against these players, they've simply limited our ability to kill this boss at the level I deem fit at this point. (I want to take a vacation sometime before launch, 1 week before BFA release - just to clear my head and thought from PC matters.) 8.)Please provide us with a screenshot of your raid UI 9.)Are you easily offended by racist, sexist, or other such humor? No 10.)Do you have any friends within TFB? Any enemies? Nope and nope. 11.)Do you have any alts worth mentioning? I'm a previous tank main with tank alts on Zul'Jin but none that I'd be interested in referencing at this point. 12.)What is the absolute latest time you can raid? 3am (EST) 13.)Please note our raid times are in EST, are you able to make those times stated above? Yes 14.)We raid from 7-11 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. What time zone do we raid in? EST 15.)If the raid leader was to wrongfully chew you out in the middle of a raid how would you react? PM during break or after pull (if reasonable and not chain pulling). Or just wait until after raid and discuss over comms. 16.)If you were asked to sit out for a raid that you signed up for in advance how would you react? If it helps kill it this week, I'll be there next week. No issue for mythic comp adjustments, nature of the game. 17.)What two websites do you visit for the most WoW information related to your class? CompetitiveWoW Subreddit and MMOChhampion. 18.)A penguin walks through the door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here? The penguin is going to come in the door and say, "recruit Elvir, he's beautiful, talented in DPS, listens well and understands mechanics. Oh and the sombrero? I'm just trying to stand out, kinda like how Elvir is." 19.)Why are you actively searching for a new guild? What expectations do you have for us? As stated above, the main reason for searching for a new guild is to achieve long term success in a game I enjoy. The guild I am in currently had the potential to do so, however, it looks like mental fatigue is finally taking its toll on many players which may cause serious roster issues I am looking to avoid moving into the new xPac. I need a long term investment where I can find myself enjoying the game and pushing myself to like-minded individuals limits. 20.)How long have you been playing WoW and how many guilds have you been a member of? I've been playing WoW since Burning Crusade and have been a member of about 6 guilds. 3 fell apart due to roster issues, the others slowly withered as the game aged. 21.)What is your longest tenure in any one guild? 1-3 Years 22.)How active do you plan to be on the forums during your tenure here? 2-3 Times A Week 23.)What previous raiding experience do you have? BC - all WOTLK - all Cata - Only DS MoP - all WoD - all Legion - EN, end of NH, early ToS, mid-way through Antorus (new job migrations caused skips in game time.) 24.)What can we expect from you in our raids? No mental fatigue, I'm a software engineer, I can literally stare at something for days and not be bothered by it. I'm committed and driven, you don't need to motivate me, I motivate myself and compare myself to similar classes to do better and constantly review logs, new strats which may be viable tenures for our guild and my self progression. I'm vocal and constructive, I'm not talking the sense in which I say shit about x and y doing z wrong, I'm talking about actual constructive feedback for the better of the guild as a unit. One of my strongest attributes being that I'm well spoken and very informed/educated on how this game works and plays. 25.)Despite our 3 day a week raid schedule and having an application that tests your humor, we can be very serious about DPS/HPS, reflexes, and raid attendance. These will be heavily critiqued by the raid leader. Can you handle this kind of criticism? Absolutely - chew me out. As long as it's constructive I will ultimately not be offended by you. I'm down to earth, get shit done is my mentality. Tell me what needs to change and I will adjust. Simple as that. 26.)What do you feel are the most important aspects of your class and spec? What do you bring to the raid and how do you maximize it? Currently as a BM spec hunter Crit and Haste are my prio. for Stomp build, if I swap to Frenzy for shorter fights, Haste Mastery take prio. When I flex to MM (M+ and certain fights), Crit Mast take king with about 15% haste. All of these thresholds I currently meat with BiS slot talent gear with the exception of a very competitive ring in slot2 as my BM spec. I bring the willingness to learn and adjust on the fly, if something isn't working, I figure out why post-pull and adjust, if I can cheese a mechanic and help the group out, I do it. For example, I will willingly run fears and and soak orbs with both the flexibility of being able to DMG while moving as BM for escorts, as well as prydaz+turtle soak orbs if a tank cannot grab a rent soul in time. I'm here to learn and succeed as a whole. I fully understand my rotation and what is expected of me going into every raid night, I'm never caught off guard and for the rare occasion I may be doing something wrong, I adjust and fix the next pull. 27.)If there's anything else you want to add; either a self bio, information about friends who may join, or if you simply want us to know something not asked, this is the time to let us know. Like mentioned earlier, I'm 24, living in Ottawa, Canada. I'm a software engineer for one of the largest growing companies in Canada with over 4000 employees. I'm a motivated individual who loves to learn, I love fitness and love to hangout and have brews with the lads. Born in Europe and raised in my early years in Bosnia/Germany, we ultimately moved to Canada due to the war in the mid 90's in former Yugoslavia. Been here ever since and absolutely loving life. -- Because I could not fit current Argus prog logs in the application above; here they are. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/guilds/17396 28.)TFB has no guarantee that server transfers will be automatically accepted into the guild. Failure to perform at our level or failure to attend raids reliably during your recruitment period can and will result in denial. Do you accept this risk? Yes 29.)How did you hear about us? WoWProgress 30.)What is your current artifact level on your weapon? Do you have any legendaries? 80 on MM / 77 on BM / 75 on Survival. I have all legos.
