Here's that minimalist MSPaint dude's first version of Tomb breakdown (From PTR stuff) Overall, I think this guy outlines things pretty well, though some of it may have changed from PTR. His images have gotten a lot better too! Additionally Wowhead has write-ups for the bosses. http://www.wowhead.com/tomb-of-sargeras-raid-guides#bosses-and-strategy-guides
Cool writeup specifically for ranged ppl. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NT5Tjh9WdWx8l64CTlvUwBrwAiF-f5FtHkjZkVUBH8k/edit#gid=0
These are the only ones he has up right now. Figured it would be nice to have them posted, no cheesy music and soothing voice! Enjoy <3
alright seeing that video confirmed what i thought needs to be done with felclaws a tank should not be taking autoattacks with even a single stack of horseshitclaws debuff on them. maybe it sorta plays into my style more over others, but the whole "THERE'S A BIG FUCKING THING, HIT A CD" is the kind of tanking I can guarantee my survival on, being as i have so many CD's. My nemesis, Mr. Autoattacks, were fucking levelling me mid phase 2 cause the swap happens midway through his 5 felclaws applications. meaning the one who taunts kiljewden takes the final 2-4 claws and then sits there getting curbstomped into the ground until the next felclaws. As tanks, we need to be able to take all 5 felclaws, then swap.
As Ast said, both ways are done and depend on the team comp, not what you can specifically handle on your own. The fight is designed around taking the full set of 5, but the damage is currently way higher than it should be which led to splitting the stacks, which is more commonly done when you're not sitting on a top tank comp pair. The ideal cycle that happens is one tank gets to 4 stacks, the other tank gets the last stack and tanks until he has 4 and rinse - repeat. I also asked around about ways to make the fight easier for our comp, and I was told that the Paladin tank should be running HoTP, and have it macro'd to the cotank to help them get topped off before the final Felclaw. The CD reduction thing to it as well? Healing your yourself/cotank for millions per cast on a boss that hits that hard is a good thing. Tier should also be a priority, that's an automatic 5% flat DR to everything, for 2 pieces. We can hopefully struggle through it on Monday, but there's no doubt that the encounter is getting toned down a notch (or several) on Tuesday, so hopefully it won't feel like shit.
